Tara is a Dutch Shepherd that was purchased from Vohne Liche Kennels in Denver, Indiana.  She is 3 years old and was imported from Holland.  She is trained in Narcotics Detection, Tracking, and Criminal Apprehension.  She is certified with the N.N.D.D.A. (National Narcotics Detector Dog Association).  Tara's handler is Sgt. Sean Eylar of the Public Housing Division.  Sgt. Eylar has been with the Oxford Police Department for 8 years and has been a K-9 handler for 3 years.
